Earlier this week, I was invited to speak to members of Michele Knight’s Tarot group at www.micheleknight.com . The talk was on interpreting Court Cards. These 16 ‘personality’ cards tagged on to the four Minor Arcana suits often attract a lot of knitted eye-brows and frowns in a reading, so my talk aimed to arm Tarotists with lots of different ways of looking at the cards for their sitter.

An engagement ring is swathed in many memories and it was with a sense of foreboding that I accepted my mum's engagement ring as a gift after my dad died. Too small for me to wear, I secreted it away in a tiny red jeweller's box at the back of a drawer.
